Man threatens to blow up store
WEST CARROLLTON: The manager at a Speedway station, 747 E. Central Ave., told a man violating a criminal trespass notice to leave. The man refused, saying he’d “blow this place up.” The manager contacted police, who booked the man into the Montgomery County Jail on charges of aggravated menacing and criminal trespassing.— Kristin McAllister, staff writer

Crashed UPS 747 FDR recovered
The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority said Tuesday it had recovered the flight data recorder from the UPS 747-400F that crashed Sept. 3 in Dubai, killing both pilots ( ATW Daily News, Sept. 6 ). GCAA, which is leading the accident investigation, already had recovered the cockpit voice recorder.
