Open Question: Welder for a roll cage?
I'm interested in building a roll cage as well as buying some rock sliders for my off road rig. My question is, being on a budget, I don't have the money to go buy an expensive mig or tig welder (anything that uses shielding gas really) so would I be able to go down to say harbor freight and buy like a $200 arc/stick welder and be able to put down some strong welds or do I absolutely need a pricey welder to do that?

Open Question: Why cannot Dell price Desktops more competitively for India?
One can buy a fabulous laptop for a reasonable amount from Dell. Then, why cannot a desktop also be priced more competitively? One only pays for the components in a Dell Computer, and the freight, if one buys from the website. The cost of the components should be heavily subsidized. I refer to the i7 processor. If Dell purchases so many i7 processors, and so many McAfee anti-virus packages, then why are they not purchased by Dell at a heavily subsidized price, from the producers? True, that every component has an additional tax, but it is not stipulated, that the latest processors will be taxed more, than older processors. The taxes are the same for older, and new generation processors. The same for the other components of a PC. I am looking forward to buying a top spec PC from Dell, at a reasonable price in the future.

I have generic household stuff: electronics, music instruments, mattress, etc... every of it could probably fill the tiny 10' size u-haul truck. I'm actually not shipping any furniture larger than an office seat (besides the mattress.) What should I expect to pay if I pack every this stuff into boxes and pallet it up and arrange for LTL freight? I'm having a difficult time using UPS or similar sites to calculate the costs for mundane stuff like this.

Open Question: Does every poem contain irony?
I am writing an essay and I am using "chicago" by carl sanburg. I need to know if there is irony in this poem. I can't seem to find any. Is it possible to have a poem without it? The essay is pretty much my opinion, but I want to make sure I am not missing something. Chicago by Carl Sanburg Hog Butcher for the World, Tool Maker, Stacker of Wheat, Player with Railroads and the Nation's Freight Handler; Stormy, husky, brawling, City of the Big Shoulders: They tell me you are wicked and I believe them, for I have seen your painted women below the gas lamps luring the farm boys. And they tell me you are crooked and I answer: Yes, it is true I have seen the gunman kill and go free to kill again. And they tell me you are brutal and my answer is: On the faces of women and kids I have seen the marks of wanton hunger. And having answered so I turn once more to those who sneer at this my city, and I give them back the sneer and say to them: arrive and show me another city with lifted head singing so proud to be alive and coarse and strong and cunning. Flinging magnetic curses amid the toil of piling job on job, here is a tall bold slugger set vivid against the little soft cities; Fierce as a dog with tongue lapping for action, cunning as a savage pitted against the wilderness, Bareheaded, Shoveling, Wrecking, Planning, Building, breaking, rebuilding, below the smoke, dust every over his mouth, laughing with white teeth, below the terrible burden of destiny laughing as a young man laughs, Laughing even as an ignorant fighter laughs who has never lost a battle, Bragging and laughing that below his wrist is the pulse, and below his ribs the heart of the people, Laughing! Laughing the stormy, husky, brawling laughter of Youth, half-naked, sweating, proud to be Hog Butcher, Tool Maker, Stacker of Wheat, Player with Railroads and Freight Handler to the Nation.

Open Question: I was a victim of check fraud and the bank is now charging me 6 thousand dollars. What can I do to fight this?
I received two checks for an online transaction (I was selling my engine) seven hundred dollars were supposed to go to me and the relax for the shipping and handling ( from Los Angeles to London via freight) which was going to be in the thousands. I cashed the checks at my bank and send the money to the ups agent in london via western union, which I now know was a fake. When I found out this was a fraud, the police along with two other bank workers spotted the fake checks upon seconds. The cashiers that cashed the check for me gave me silly faces but still gave me the money anyway! Other bank workers told me to battle this charge because the cashiers knew they were fake and probably fraudulent and they still gave me the money either way. I was completely unaware until they froze my account and took the little money I had. What can I do? How can I battle this? Please ... I have no way of paying this. I got laid off by the city because of cuts.. i was a lifeguard and now I am stuck with this. Please help. Thank you so much.

Open Question: Where can I file complaint about a merchant / supplier.?
I just ordered (online) a wheelchair for an elderly lady, from a Medical supplies company in Arizona, USA. I asked them in advance what the weight/dimensions will be, BEFORE, I can confirm the order. As the wheelchair will be shipped overseas. Must have exact info to calculate costs of shipping. After I placed the order/paid for. Supplier changed weight/dimensions "during shipping" to my freight forwarder at NY airport. My freight forwarder, upon receiving the shipment, told me that the charges agreed earlier are no longer valid, and cost of shipping the box overseas will be "more than triple" the orignal figure, since weight has more than tripled, etc. I contacted the US supplier and complained about this HUGE discrepancy in weight/dimensions, and asked for compensation (as shipping cost has went up from mere $500 to $2000). They refused to pay back, or compensate me. What local, national bodies, organizations, I can I file a complaint with, about this Medicla supplies company. Thank you for any information, help in solving this issue.

Resolved Question: Why would Democrats vote in healthcare that the majority do not want?
I am trying to wrap my head around this thing. We have the majority of people in every the major surveys saying they don't want this health care. We have top level politicians in the majority ruling party pushing it through. We have them telling members of congress and senate to sacrifice their political careers to vote it in. We have many members of the home and senate making announcements that they will not be seeking re-election (as the polls have them so low). It would appear that the Democrats are like some nice of runaway freight train and they are like lemmings jumping off a cliff after a few who are definitely not going to be re-elected. They are going to lose power and the republicans will be back in control and they are still like lemmings. What is going on? Why are they doing this when the majority still says they don't want this thing? What in the world is in it for them? Have they gone mad?

Voting Question: please read this I'm so confused!?
this is a answer from someone who's responsible for some sport club: A man who has never gone to school may steal from a freight car; but if he has a university education, he may steal the whole railroad. The decision is yours and I will be waiting. Have a good night. my email was: thanks Daniel this is the last year for me in University I'm planning to register in summer after I graduate in July, is it ok? what does he mean??? is he saying that i shouldn't wait and register now? or does he say that education is more important than sport?

Resolved Question: What is the difference between FedEx Express and FedEx Ground?
So..I'm asking this question because I asked another one and said FedEx Freight instead of FedEx Express so... I was looking into applying for a job with FedEx. I found one for FedEx Ground but its a 40 minute commute vs one I found for FedEx Express, which is a 20 minute commute. I applied for FedEx Express since its closer, but I'm wondering what the difference is between the two, jobwise AND shipping wise. I'm just curious as to if I'll be lifting heavy boxes or tiny boxes etc. Any help would be appreciated. Preferably someone who works for FedEx. Thanks =]
